A TEAM at Galloway Community Hospital has been buoyed by recognition of the great patient care and experience they are delivering. At this very challenging time, the team at Dalrymple Ward have been informed that they have received a Silver Award from Care Assurance – becoming the first ward in acute and diagnostics across the region to gain the achievement. Katie Fitzgerald, Senior Charge Nurse, said: "I couldn't be any more proud of the Dalrymple Team. Everyone's hard work and dedication to providing great patient care and experience has shined through in this report." Thanking everyone for welcoming her onto the Dalrymple Team, and for taking on board and implementing her improvement projects with enthusiasm, Katie said: "I am very honoured to be the Senior Charge Nurse to such a fantastic, motivated team and I am very excited to see what the future holds for us"
