Tourist body's reminder of the outdoors rules

VISITSCOTLAND is among the latest to remind people of what they can and cannot do during Phase 1 of the Scottish Government's roadmap to ending the Covid-19 lockdown. The tourist body says that while the great outdoors can be used for unlimited exercise, there is a presumption against traveling over five miles for leisure and people are encourage to walk or cycle, rather than drive, for outdoor exercise. While some outdoor sports such as angling and golf are back subject to social distancing precautions, tourist facilities – including car parks – are largely closed.
