Fears for young cyclist in Stranraer crash
THERE are fears that a cyclist may have been hurt in an accident in Stranraer but headed off before he could medical attention.
Police are asking anyone who knows the cyclist or who may have sent the accident to get in touch.
They say: "Officers in Stranraer are trying to trace a young male cyclist who collided into a car and fell off his bike about 2.15 pm yesterday on St John's Street, Stranraer.
"The young male got up, refused any medical treatment and cycled off before the driver could help him.
"There is concern that the young male may have sustained injuries as a result of the collision and officers are keen to trace him.
"The young male cyclist is described as being approx 5 ft 7 in height, about 14 years old wearing black tracksuit bottoms, a grey hoodie, a blue hat and cycling a black mountain bike.
