Get kitted out: Stranraer FC's new strip is a hit
New shirt
STRANRAER FC have been dealt a cruel blow by the Covid-19 shut-down as they mark their 150th anniversary, but their retro-style new strips are creating lots of interest.
Fans are loving the return of a red shield-shaped badge, featuring a white ship to reflect the town's maritime heritage.
And red-topped blue socks are also a throwback that's found favour.
The Stair Park side say: 'Proudly displayed on the chest is a modern take on the badge that adorned our strips between 1961 and 1985, worn by club legends Derek Frye who in 1976/77 scored the club record 27 goals and Jim McCabe.
The kit is now available to pre-order via www.stranraerfc.org, with orders delivered from Friday 26 June.
