IT LOOKS like Stranraer in November but this was today as downpours caused localised flooding. A Met Office yellow weather alert had warned of possible thunderstorms with the risk of heavy rain in some areas. The Met Office warning – taking in parts of Northern Ireland, most of Ayrshire and all of Dumfries and Galloway – extends until midnight. Tomorrow is expected to be warm with showers.
