Curtain falls on 2020 panto but it will return in 2021 (Oh, yes it will!)

The roar of the greasepaint and the smell of the crowd...

IT'S THE highlight of the festive season for many people (Oh, yes it is!) but Stranraer Drama Club has been forced to cancel their annual panto. A notice from the club says that the decision was taken "with heavy hearts." "This would have been our fifty second annual pantomime and this is also the first time we have had to cancel the pantomime, so this is a sad day for everyone at Stranraer Drama Club." The club's pantomimes have earned a reputation for high quality with everything from sets and costumes to acting, singing, choreography and music all earning praise. They say no plans have currently been made for the the next season but add: "Rest assured Stranraer Drama Club will return bigger and stronger for 2021."
