Wet wet wet: Weather warning issued

Flooding in Cairnryan this morning

DID you catch some sun yesterday? Perhaps just as well as today looks miserable... The Met Office extended a yellow weather warning for heavy rain southwards to include all of Wigtownshire. The warning extends right through the day into the early hours. They say: "Heavy rain is likely to lead to some travel disruption during Tuesday." Drivers have been weaned to watch out for spray and standing water as localised flooding is likely to affect all roads. Tomorrow looks a little better and by Saturday, the forecast is for that sunshine to return.
