DEATHS
ADAMS — Peacefully at Newton Stewart Hospital, on Monday, 13th November, 2017, Isobel Lochrie Adams aged 95 years, of 47 Main Street, Kirkcowan. A much loved wife of the late Bertie Adams, a devoted mother of George and mother- in-law to May, also a loving granny of Laura. Funeral arrangements to follow by window intimations.
HERON (NEE IRVINE) — At Cedrus House, Stowmarket, Suffolk on 6th November, 2017, Margot Jessie Heron (nee Irvine), in her 92nd year, formerly of Agnew Crescent and Waverley Place, Stranraer. Daughter of the late William Irvine and Margaret Jessie Irvine (nee Diamond), sister of the late May Griffin, aunt of the late Eric Griffin, wife of the late Malcolm Heron, mother of Elizabeth, David and Malcolm, grandmother of Kat, Louisa and Suzie and great-grandmother of Erik. The service of committal will take place at Achnabreac Cemetery, Lochgilphead at 12 noon on Wednesday, 22nd November followed by a service of thanksgiving at 1pm at Lochgilphead Baptist Church. MCCRAE — Peacefully at Galloway Community Hospital, Stranraer on Monday 6th November, 2017. Margaret Murray aged 79 years of Dunmore, Thornbank Road, Stranraer, beloved wife of the late David McCrae, dearly loved mother of Lynette and David, mother in law of Kenny, much loved grandmother of Hugh, Roan and Erno.
