ALEXANDER — Peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary on Saturday 12th August, 2017. Greta Alexander aged 74 years, of 10 Royal Crescent, Stranraer. Beloved wife of Billy Alexander, dearly loved mother of Fiona and Crawford, much loved nannie of Laura, Grant, James, Ruaridh, Scott, Arran and the late Callum, great granny to Alister and Adele. Funeral on Friday 18th August, 2017. Service in the Trinity Church of Stranraer at 12.00.noon. Thereafter interment at Inch Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited, family flowers only please, donations if desired in aid of British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research on retiral from church.
COWAN — Suddenly but peacefully on Sunday 13th August, 2017. Robin Cowan aged 76 years, of Bowling Green Road, Sandhead. Son of the late Annie and Bob Cowan, dear brother of Andy. Funeral on Monday 21st August, 2017. Service in Sandhead church at 12.00.noon, thereafter interment at Stoneykirk Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. MCCOWEN — Peacefully at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary on Wednesday 9th August, 2017. Robert Wales McCowen aged 87 years (formerly of the Bungalow, Stoneykirk Road, Stranraer.) Funeral on Thursday 17th August, 2017. Service in Mansewood Private Chapel, Dalrymple Street, Stranraer at 12.00.noon. Thereafter to Glebe Cemetery. ROSS — Gordon's family sincerely thank all friends and relatives for their cards, flowers and kind comforting words of support.
